G'day All,

This is my first post after much reading.

First up I'm new to Linux, VERY new.

I've been fiddling around trying to get one of the LRP distro's set up to link 2 houses with a network in each house.
I'm not sure if I want to use routing or bridging.

I've looked at the Eigerstein, Materhorn (seems old?) and Dashestein.

I have a P133 machine here that has a NE2000 ethernet card on board (300H and IRQ 10) and an Orinoco Silver
card in a ISA to PCMCIA adapter card. My friend has an identical unit (Unisys minature box ex ebay) and we wish to link our
2 networks together via a wireless link.

Problem is I don't seem to be able to get the drivers loaded for the wireless card and or get packets from 1 betwork to the other.

Umm, I'd appreciate if someone could perhaps point me in a direction to further my education,

I'd love a step by step, but I'm prepared to fiddle a little if I can get on the right track.

I'm sure someone is/has done something similar.

Thanks again

Richard
