I joined the list a few days ago and had almost the same comments.
Sounds like about $300 per interface (perhaps half that as a bulk buy) plus an arial or two at anywhere between $10 and $400.

If you want to set up an access point (AP) then in all likelihood
you'll need two interfaces cards.
